The Cinematic Highlights of September 2015

Just like last month I was only able to watch 10 new films, but it was a better month as many of the ones I did see were excellent and the one that I didn’t like was still an admirable effort. Among the highlights were a quirky, violent, and surprising western, two movies about pretty people with pretty bodies getting their lives together through the power of dance, the return of a horror master to the legendary franchise he started, and a movie about an almighty god of destruction hanging out at a pool party and threatening the world after missing out on a plate of pudding.

So, like last month I’ll just go ahead and list them all:
